Aviva's Encounter

Aviva's Story
MY AARON ASHMORE ENCOUNTER

I met Aaron Ashmore on June 14th 2005. One summer day, my mom rushes into my room to wake me up and let me know that they were filming MISSING [my favourite show...of course] a few blocks away from my house in Toronto. Basically, to make a long story short, I introduced myself to a cop that was helping the crew throughout the day and told her I was a huge fan of the show and asked if she could get me in there to meet the cast. A couple minutes later the executive producer came out and I started talking to her telling her abouy my website (www.caterinascorsone.net) and how much I enjoy the show. In addition to meeting a lot of the wonderful crew, I met Caterina, Vivica, Mark and Justin all within about 15 minutes. I was on cloud 9! I also took pictures with all of them and got them to sign things for me. After coming back to the film shoot a couple of times throughout the day (after their breaks), the producer told me that I had to come back in the evening because there was someone I would enjoy meeting. Since the season hadn't begun showing in Canada, I was not aware of Jess's new love interest for the 3rd season. So I came back later in the day and waited around for a while, talked to Caterina again for a bit (who is so nice by the way). Then the producer brought over Aaron to where me (Caterina and my brother who happened to be there were standing) So at that point it didn't really know who Aaron was but someone said how his twin brother was "Ice man" in the X-Men movies and then right away it clicked. He was really nice and I just told him how I looked forward to watching the show etc because i didn't have much to say at that point since I didn't know much about him. I also got a picture with me and him that is hanging on my wall with all the other pictures of me and the cast. A couple of weeks later I sent a fan letter to Aaron at the Missing studio (which of course is no longer in existance - stupid lifetime network) and I guess they forwarded the letter to his agency. It took about a month (and at the point which I sent him the letter, i had seen a couple of episodes with him and knew more about who he was). He wrote back and said "To Aviva, Thank you so much for your support - Aaron Ashmore" and he also signed one for my friend which I had asked.
He is super nice and obviously cares about his fans. I hope all of you one day have the same experience meeting him as I did.
